Motorola DROID 2 Global to get bug-fixing upgrade to improve audio during calls

The Motorola DROID 2 Global Owners are simply waiting on Verizon to rollout a new firmware upgrade. The update will download version 2.4.330 onto your device and afterward when you dial the call forwarding prefix *71 will no longer bring up a blank screen. Upon powering up the phone, The “No Service” will no longer indicate and will not reset when you switch from Global Mode to GSM/UMTS. When you switch the other way from GSM/UMTS to Global Mode, the UI is refreshed. And the 011 prefix is automatically added to the country code belonging to the other party’s phone number when sending an SMS to a person overseas.
