The Motorola provides and eco-friendly feature phone – the Motorola GRASP

Originally, the GRASP was announced by Motorola as an eco-friendly phone way back in July, but an unknown carrier was not identified. The GRASP offers up to 5.3 hours of time for talking using its 950mAh battery. It also has Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. The newest pride of Motorola, the GRASP is now available in U.S. cellular stores. Generally, the said phone is priced at $89.95 bearing a 2-year agreement. The PVC free housing of this phone is certified 100 percent recyclable.

The Motorola Droid 2

The Motorola Droid 2 has just been launched and Motorlla has been planning to release the special edition of Motorola Droid 2 wih the centra theme of Star wars. R2D2, a cute little robot in Star Wars has been the inspiration for the Motorola Droid 2. The design is much akin to the R2D2 with white and blue colors in the front and the back side. Til date it i not confirmed when Verizon will launch Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition. Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition will use Android 2.2 as operating system.

Verizon DROID by Motorola

Verizon had ventured into the Android market with its DROID by Motorola and it was a thumping success. The recent launch by Verizon Droid 2 features a large 3.7-inch WVGA resolution touchscreen display and a slide-out 4-row QWERTY keyboard. It features many characteristic of Droid 1 and hopefully it will be as equal in its working as its predecessor since its rating is very high. Additional features include some bonus apps and things like BlockBuster streaming movies and free Google Maps Navigation.

Google had chosen HTC as its choice to for its Android into the smartphone realm with G1, Motorola is its choice for upcoming Android powered tablet. The Motorola Android powered tablet will feature Tegra 2 platform from NVIDIA along with a 10.1” display panel supplied from Sharp. The display by Sharp has reduced brightness output compared to the iPad, and at the same time it is much thinner in size. Google is closely allied with Motorola and is still ironing out certain wrinkles before this product will hit the market.

Motorola finally accepts the ugly truth!

Motorola accepted that its latest flagship phone Droid X that runs on Google’s Android system has problems with screen. The company said that in a very small number of cases, the display would flicker with bands of light. It said the customers experiencing the problem should contact the customer support center or Verizon. The company has resolved the issue and is continuing to ship the phones. Such glitches aren’t unusual to newly launched devices.
