Google had chosen HTC as its choice to for its Android into the smartphone realm with G1, Motorola is its choice for upcoming Android powered tablet. The Motorola Android powered tablet will feature Tegra 2 platform from NVIDIA along with a 10.1” display panel supplied from Sharp. The display by Sharp has reduced brightness output compared to the iPad, and at the same time it is much thinner in size. Google is closely allied with Motorola and is still ironing out certain wrinkles before this product will hit the market.

Motorolai1, the first push-to-talk Android –based Smartphone will go on sale on 25 July for $150 with a two year contract. The company has said that i1 features a large 3.1inch touch screen display, opera mini 5 browser, Google services like Gmail, map and search. It also has 5 mega pixel camera, wi-fi, and access to facebook, twitter. The i1 is only android phone to offer Nextel Direct Connect as well as the latest Smartphone features.

Motorola finally accepts the ugly truth!

Motorola accepted that its latest flagship phone Droid X that runs on Google’s Android system has problems with screen. The company said that in a very small number of cases, the display would flicker with bands of light. It said the customers experiencing the problem should contact the customer support center or Verizon. The company has resolved the issue and is continuing to ship the phones. Such glitches aren’t unusual to newly launched devices.
